Hi guys,

I'd have the chance of buying one of these for 750 USD but I honestly have no idea of how much these babies costed and if it would be a good deal. I'm mainly a classical guitarist so the idea of having a nylon-string axe with 22 frets and AANJ sounds really AWESOME!

If anyone can give me any info on them it would be greatly apreciated. Here's the best pic I could get of the axe:

Are you in Argntina now to personally check it out?

I also wanted it but I feel its too risky to buy it without trying it, and since Im still in Mexico (till the end of August), I didnt feel like taking the chance.

Also, I dont know how much they costed new. My bet is that they would ve been around 900-1100 USD new.

I think Mannys imported a couple of this guitars, so at least in Argentina the odds of finding one are not so slim.

Well I'm not in Argentina ATM but I'm taking the flight this Wednesday and I should be there on Thursday. Of course I'd never buy this one without trying it but since he states he's located in Capital then that shouldn't be a problem. I just wanted a price indication and I'll make sure to check out Manny's as well when I'm there.

Thanks for the advice.

Mannys had a couple of acoustic Talmans last i was there, one nylon, one steel, both Korean made by Cort... didnt try them...

Now this S... i dunno... does Ibanez even make acoustics in japan? cause $750 sounds like a lot for a Cort axe, wether you can try it out or not...

Well I'm in Argentina now so I guess I'll try to find out as much as I can from the dealers around here about the price and then I'll give her a try to see if she convinces me. I really want one of these specially for playing with the orchestra in my school. I'll let you guys know what happens.

Thanks everyone for the help! ;)

that would be a neat purpose. Kinda remindes of a Godin Multiac Nylon, which I absolutely love.

Well, I finally bought this guitar.

It was in excellent shape. I paid 650USD for it (it costed about 1200 new here in Argentina 7 years ago, so my bet is that it would be about 20-30% more if it was still in production this days. So I think its a pretty good price (for argentina).

It sounds quite good and it is as comfortable as an electric guitar.
