Have you considered a gotoh? The angle of the fine tuners are like the edge.

Here's a pic of a side profile of a Schaller Floyd, the angle of the baseplate where the fine tuners are is like the original floyd

Here's a gotoh, you can see how it gives you a little more room. The fine tuners are also angled away from where your palm lays.

The angle is a lot like the oringal edge... Like this.

They offer a 7 string version of the gotoh.

Here's a listing for one... They're fairly cheap and accept multiple post spacings due to the way the baseplate is shaped

Anybody have a Lo-TRS 7 (Takeuchi Ibanez branded or Takeuchi Jackson/Washburn branded) laying around?

Condition doesn't have to be great and don't need the arm, as long as it has most parts, I'm interested.

I'll be replacing a modded Floyd Rose Special 7, the old school fine tuning setup really gets in the way of playing.

Thanks for the suggestion! I did look at other similar trems, but since I'm barely using it at all, I opted to sell the LoPro and throw in a cheap trem, however, I did not account for the fine tuner angle. I am looking at auction sites in case any one of those pop up!
