Hello there,

I'm looking to sell off a large part of my guitar collection, however I never got into Ibanez, save for this guitar:

Ibanez X Series F842804

Looking for some information regarding: Year of production, units made, actual catalog name, and what current value this guitar holds?

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

SN# makes it a 1984(84) model year, built in June(F). Though the closest I can find in a catalog is 1985.

Going by this:

I'd say it's a DT250. :)

Units made is almost impossible with Ibanezs, I don't think they ever kept track of anything but extremely short-run guitars. A production model like this wouldn't have a set number, most likely.

Value is going to vary as well. I would use 'that auction site' as a basis, since these are only really worth what someone will pay for them.

(10 years ago I paid $300 for an '85 Pro Line rhoads copy(PR1660), but when I sold it later on I got $175 for it, just for an example.)
