Hi people,
do you know if it is sensibly possible to replace this bridge on the mentioned guitar by a better one?
Scale length on this guitar is 25,5", so trem anchors would have to be placed at 637mm according to this manual, page 5:
It seems like this is a typical distance (also for fr).

The mentioned distance is about 634mm on the rgt and I do not find manuals for other trems to indicate this. Scale length is 648 (324 nut to 12th fret)
Should I care about this approx 3mm?

I have seen that Edge Pro is an option: Upgrading An RGT42
Does it require 634mm?

looking forward to your answers!

thank you for the info. Would you replace the anchors and bolts? I don't like the installed ones. Too much play on the bolts, seems to make 1mm from original positions (seeming to be like 635/636mm when trem is not pulling) which I did not find specified anywhere.

I would at least if they're worn out, or causing issues, yes. A little work to do that though. Redrilling the holes to fit from memory.

I'd let a luthier do that especially since I'm afraid initial position was already slightly compromised.
