Greetings everyone! Found this forum after receiving my first (used) JEM from ebay. It has a bunch of flaws which make me question
if it's a fake or not. It did come with a case and the manual/ codes look legit, so I'm just wondering if it's a case of bad QA. Some of the things I've noticed are- the BFP looks kind of faded by the bridge, wood dust and peeling decal under the truss cover, nicks under the lions claw, the tone volume knob look like different shades of blue. Basically just a bunch of aesthetic blemishes, which I could live with as long as I'm not being taken for a ride. I appreciate any input, thanks!

No, listed as "open box- Mint" (hah!) in the ebay post.

That's how stores get around MAP pricing policy to move inventory they can't sell.

No, that's just the way they were in 2018, and plenty still are.

You're lucky the headstock hasn't shrunk and is all wrinkled, and the frets sprouted off the edge.
