Projectguitar.com under tutorials has just about all the info you will need to build/modify your Ibanez into a beautiful work of art. I'm not sure how much time or money you want to put into it. If you already have a router, dremel. drill press, and other various tool you will have no problem getting started. Just go down to your local hardware store to get the rest. Using an RG 570 or 550 would be your best choice to build off of. You might want to pick up a second cheaper model to practice on first. Hope this helps.
