All original. Real relic.
Signed by Steve Vai on the body and neck.
Players condition. Has some dings, chips and scratches.
Scalloped. OHSC included.

Looking to sell for $2777 plus shipping, or trade.
I will consider the following trades plus cash:

2. Gibson LesPaul Custom Lite
3. weight relieved (chambered) Gibson Les Paul

This is not a 777DY (very common Jem) but a 1990/1991 777VDY with the thinner wizard neck and the lo-pro trem (very sought after). You would do better changing the title because it is a rare guitar and you will have more chances to sell it.

A mint one with its correct case and no issirs I suposse should be around 2500-3000$-ish; yours is scalloped which is an irreversible mod and case is not the correct pink-lined it should be in, so assume it should go for under the 2000$ tag, but it aleays depend on what buyer is willing to pay for it.

I already had $2500 offers, but it is hard to let go ;-)
It is just that I don’t play it and are not collector, so it would make more sense if I trade it.
Wife wants to keep it as investment, butI would rather have guitar to play and not to worship.

You should've sold it for two and a half, then you'd have cash to buy whatever you want, a collector won't touch it with that scallop job so you're not going to get any more realistically.
