Greetings Guys---I purchased a used JemBFP2 today from GC. It was in mint condition and playability was pretty good. Always felt this was the best looking Jem ever but held off buying due to not wanting to deal with another trem system other than the Original Edge.

Got it home and am going to tackle changing the strings to my preferred gauges, etc. After getting home I noticed that my Trem cavity did not have the Zero Point stopper system that I had seen on these BFP2's originally when they came out in 2015. Did Ibanez change this Trem over at some point? Note the back trem plate cover is not the one for the zero point with the adjustment thread either so it isn't like someone just took it out and put the cover back on. This is a normal Ibby trem cover and frankly looked almost new as the plastic shield wrap was still on it (and on the pick guard as well).

Second question - is there a definitive video out there on YouTube on adjusting this particular trem? I've seen a number out there but most seem to focus on the Edge Zero.

Third question. This BFP has jumbo frets (which I prefer). However three years ago I was playing a BFP2 at a store that I'd swear had the thinner 6105 frets on it.

Wondering if there have been small changeovers in this guitar since it came out four years ago.

Sorry for all the questions but know the answers always reside at this forum. Thank you!

No ZPS system on that Jem, how would you get the flutter otherwise.
You set the trem up the same as any Floyd based system, just move the spring claw to balance the string tension.
No idea on the frets but you got what you prefer so a good result.
Enjoy.
