i was thinking about building my own jem because i like the look and feel but with tom anderson pick ups so i was hoping you guys could tell me were i could get a body and a neck to fit it the neck doesnt have to be a jem neck just something that feels good

i saw some bodys on ebay but none were routed out for pickgaurds and they were all basswood

also can you put a floyd in a jem that has already been routed for an edge

i dont need it to say ibanez if its blank i will just paint it ive seen
simscustomshop.com/page4.html
but i was hoping for a bit more than that also they dont have necks

ET guitars

Ernie is the man for sure!

Also, Pearle guitars on ebay. He has Jem bodies and necks.
I'll echo what TMatt has said...... Ernie at ET Guitars' reputation is impeccable. His parts are guaranteed to be correct, and his service is next to none. Click the banner above.......

Both Sims and Pearle have been here on Jemsite, and neither has a very good reputation (especially regarding international sales). Both have disappeared on customers that have already made payment.

I will say that it appears as though Pearle takes good care of his ebay customers, although there is no way of knowing that for sure.

Hi!
I recieved a project body from Perle. He routed everything as i asked, everything seems to be fine. Nice mahogany project body, that is a hybrid of a JEM and MTM1. He did it in the agreed time interval, wasnt late almost at all. This is my only experience of Perle, but regarding this, i recommend him.
I bought neck for it from bay. I hope the fukkin snowing stops soon here, so i can start to paint..

I've seen this lately. Maybe he's getting his act together again...... I hope so, because he does nice work and is VERY local to me!! I would love to use him in the future, but I would need to be more confident before I send any money his way

ET is in Australia so you should have no trouble getting things from him in the UK. depends on what you think a body/neck is worth. I'll tell ya, they aren't cheap regardless of who is making them.

If you tell Ernie what you are installing (as far as an OFR) he'll make the body to fit it.

To be honest the routing you need to do is not that complex to take n RG body to a Jem.

If you want different/exotic woods then a custom build is the only way though.
