Jescar does not make a fretwire called 6105. 6105 is only made by Dunlop and has dimensions of 0.090" x 0.055", which is taller and thinner than Warmoth 6105 wire. If you wanted to buy stainless Jescar wire and said you wanted 6105, you would get FW55090-S, which has identical dimensions to Dunlop 6105.

The real question is why is Warmoth buying the wider, shorter FW47095 and calling it 6105?
The real question is why this is bothering you so much. :D

So my guy doing the refret on my 77fp says he uses stewmac fretwire. So the closest to the 6100 that it would have had originally is the SM 150. It's the same width, but a touch shorter.

Has anyone had a guitar refretted with Stewmac fretwire, and was it OK?

This is really stressful :(
