Hey everyone,
I've been interested in buying a white Jem for a while now and found one from 2006, the brand new ones are just too pricy for me right now. Anyway I wanted to know if a 2006 Jem can still be used as a main guitar as in playing everyday, playing live, having good tuning stability, lasting for a long time without any major issues like cracks other than the white aging on the pickups etc. and overall preform as well as a new 2012 or 2013, plus the price is right within budget! Hope I could get some advice. Thanks!

Any Jem would be an everyday workhorse. As far as the VWH, all would be high quality. It is just a matter of the trem ('93-'02 lo-pro, '02-'10 is edge pro, '11 - present original edge. The '93 - '02 had ebony fretboards and '03 to present are rosewood. All just a matter of preference. You should be very happy with the 2006 JEM.
