My dream guitar is an ibanez js2410 and im getting ready to buy it. I mostly play joe satriani and steve vai stuff, but sometimes I like to play some petrucci/dream theater, and im curious; Will the pickups be able do get in the ballpark of a petrucci lead tone?

Why not buying the JS2410 and changing the pickups for Petruccia signature pickups ?

No need to change pickups.
With that amount of gain, pickups will sound similar.

Even single coil size humbuckers.
