I want to adjust the string action as low as possible without buzz on my JS24p, I have already made bridge and neck configuration. However, the nut is a little high, with 0.5mm on the strings in the first fret. I removed the nut and since the wood between it and trussrod is so thin, I don't want to sand the wood. I also would not like to sand the bottom of the nut. The easiest possibility would be to polish the groove where the strings pass, lowering enough to slow down the action on the first fret. What do you think from your experience?
