Great buy man!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Backstop alone is worth more than you paid for the whole guitar!

Someone sold a Backstop the other day on e bay for around $260 U.S.

It looks in great condition too.:)

PS: Nice cat too! I used to have an all-white cat but he had to have his ears amputated because he got skin cancer on his ears:(.

Wow... aside from a little corrosion on the pickup screws, it's in remarkably good shape. Great find! (and a great steal!)

And what is it about cats and guitar cases?

Really, really, really excellent find, Tubarao! I'm jealous.

What does 129USD convert to in Brazilian currency? And what can you buy with it? For example, what are the local prices on new RG1570s?

Yeah, the Backstop not being made any more is one of those great mysteries.

I've got one and it's an excellent device!
They look so damn cool in your trem-spring cavity too:).

I know that Floyd Rose owns the patent on the Backstop so maybe that's something to do with it.

Really nice find man! Lovely axe.

And cool cat! He has the same name as me lol!
This is funny.
I've named him cuz the animated mouse Stuart Little.
When he came to my hands for the very first time, he was 1 month old.
So i said:
__ Hey, boy: are you a mouse???
Lovely cat.

for the record, that's well outside the usual price range for a backstop - I've seen a bunch for for around $50.
