Well i just intalled my Tonezone in the bridge of my RG570 and I realized that the store had given me a non F sapced version of it wehen i specifically asked for it to be F spaced. Does it make a differece in sound if its not F spaced? Because the strings dont line up with the poles and to be honest i dont feel that my sound has improved as much as i hoped it would.

Sound, not really. You'll have to tweak the height a little bit though to get the best tone off of it. I love mine to bits.

If you specifically ordered an F-spaced, I would go back to the store and try and get a new one, or send it directly to DMZ for a change. Unless you're not in the US.
it will make no difference, you may want to try the steves special instead actually as I would imagine your wanting more bottom end to your tone. The tone zone is a great pickup alot of people think the Steve;s Special is better, but to each his own
then why would they make f spaced and non f spaced pickups? Is it just cosmetic?
Standard spaced pickups are for Gibsons. F-spaced pickups are for Fenders and Floyds. Remember, humbuckers are a Gibson invention so the standard spaced ones came first. No one even tried putting a humbucker in a Strat until Eddie Van Halen came along.
yeah but if a gibson one can work in a floyd one, then whats the point of having 2 diffent versions?

You just answered your own question. Best tone Ive ever heard hands down van halen one strat style f-spaced guitar with a gibson humbucker in the bridge position which was NOT f-spaced. I rest my case
