It's really the same as for an unbound fingerboard, except that you have to cut back the fret tang at the ends so that the fret can extend out over the binding. StewMac has a nipper tool for this, but you can also use a file. Cleaning out the slots is a bit harder too.

I was wondering what all the steps are to refretting a neck that is bound, any links and input would be helful!
