Hi,

I recently picked up a guitar with an 80's setup of a Kahler 2300 pro bridge and behind the nut flip lock nut.
I'm having trouble with it staying in tune ater divebombs/pull ups. When I divebomb I can feel the strings slipping in the nut ever so slightly. I've tightened it as much as I can without using excess force and I've checked the clamping plates for grooves.
Has any one else used one of these and had similar problems?

Cheers,
Pete

Thanks for the replies.
So I disassembled the nut again and found the clamping plates are fine but the body of the nut which the strings are clamped up against has grooves worn by the strings.
I'm going to try and fix it by making another plate for the strings to clamp up against, worth a try! If not I'll replace with the traditional type of locking nut
