I figured since they lost their Head, perhaps Foot would be the replacement.

I read in an interview that they arent going to add another guitarist, but rather just play recordings of all of heads parts, which sucks, but what r u gonna do

I'm sure most of us guys can agree, it takes alot to forget about "head"

Maybe they can use this as a reason to try a new direction- no new guitarist- just "lead bass".

I think they should get Wes Borland...... the shtick of L.B. is over, and he does have experience with a 7-string........ why not ? not like he has to learn any solos.....

except for the fact that wes hates 7 strings now... he just started playing them cuz they were with korn. but hey i wouldnt complain if they just tossed me even a few production models

I read or heard that somewhere too. They said they werent going to get a new guitarist, just stick with what they have, and make the most of that. It will be interesting to see if thats what they do though.

That is seriously cheesy if they do that. How hard is it to replace Head? About as hard as going to to GC and picking some lucky kid who's been playing for a year.

They may as well get Ashley Simpson to sing then. Play recordings of the guy who left?! What kind of crap is that? What if he makes a mistake?! lol

Why don't they just play a studio recording for the entire concert? That way none of the band has to show up. People can buy tickets to go to listenings of corn.

I definitely think this will lead to a new direction. From what I've heard from Munky, Head was holding him back from trying new things. Munky wanted to try adding solos to their songs, but Head said no (kinda funny since the first thing he did when he left was record a guitar solo). Munky was always the creative one, the experimenter. Head got all the credit, but Munky really seems to me to be responsible for their sound. He's the one excited about making music, from day one, and still today. Head just seemed bored with the band and only enjoyed goofing around.

I think it's a good thing Head's gone in every aspect, except for when they play the old songs live. I really hope they don't play recordings of Head's parts, I want to see them find new ways of doing the old songs.

And yeah, Wes wouldn't do it, and he's way too busy anyways (new albums and tours with Limp Bizkit, solo project with Danny Lohner and Josh Freese, etc.).

In interviews I have read Head taught munky how to play

you know what I find odd is that Vai has them listed as a group that he was very impressed with when he first heard them on the radio.

Actually its more the over way around. Munky was really into steve vai and used to have a picture of him in his guitar case. Ive seen them both do straight speed metal shred too when they were hanging out with steve vai on the korn tv thing they had on their website years ago. They really played well, and steve even jammed over some stuff and played lead to , very well might I add. It honestly doesnt surprise me that they have tons in common with vai, music doesnt have to be technical to be good, but at the same time, they can play that way if they wish so keep being ignorant if you guys want :>
