Oh yes...I want comments on the guitar.

Specs:

96 or 97 Floyd Rose Strat, Made in USA.
Original Color : Creme
Came originally with a PAF pro at the bridge, but my guitar teacher before me put a Duncan Custom Custom in it. I like it.

It was originally my guitar teachers guitar, but he traded me it for my Lone Star Strat. ( i bought it and discovered it didn't cover my style, but perfectly covered his.) So then, it was mine.

I love this guitar, it really is versitile. And yes, you can see my UV in there (Big Brother).

On yes...here's a pic of it before I painted it / changed pickguard

Comments please :)

Very nice! I was thinking of doing similar changes (i.e. pickup covers, knobs, switch tip to black, pickguard to mirror) to my black Squire Strat (has DiMarzio Super Distortion in bridge). How much was it for all the parts (2 SC covers, knobs, tip, and pickguard) and where did u get them?

Very nice guitar :)

Almost makes me want to get a strat.. but not quite hehe

Very good choice of body colour, and the mirror scratchplate looks extremely cool..

The color is Navy Blue Metallic.

Its an automotive paint, you may know it from the 98-02 camaros and firebirds :) (My favorite cars.)

gets a heavy sound and, still has a strat sound at neck...

Is the bridge coil-tappable? And if not, why not? :D

I get some nice twangy single coil sounds from my JS1000's bridge when tapped, but it depends whether you need that particular tonal range for your style of music!

Here is my Fender 62 RI Before the PG swap and new Fender noisless pickups and 1 meg pots. not THAT dramatic in looks but the PG does add a touch of style and the sound is great now with the noisless Pups After
This guitar finally plays the way and sounds the way it should.

Here's a picture of my '99 American Deluxe before mods - installation of a Fishman Powerbridge piezo-equipped bridge, installation of a new white pearl pickguard, custom wiring including a three-way switch to allow for mags, both, piezo and also a two way to allow for all seven pup combos, and installation of a stereo jack similar to Parkers. Here's a pic after the mods. Only mod left is to remove the noiseless (lifeless) pups and replace them with stock G&L Legacy pups - very vintage tone (night and day difference).

I took the pups out of my G&L Legacy which is about to receive large MFDs (from an ASAT - pups are similar to P90s) and a G&L Z-coil in the middle.

The strat will finally sound decent with the addition of the G&L pups.
