Hello,

I bought a used Epiphone Annihilation V over christmas and found a finish crack at the line where the neck meets the body. It has expanded slightly since I discovered it and there's another small crack on the bass side under the 24 fret side marker.

The neck seems stable and there's no tuning problems i can notice. I can play for more than an hour without having to retune. Pushing against the neck also doesn't open up the cracks

I tried to capture them by holding against the light.
The first is relatively easy to see but for the second one you'd have to zoom in below and to the right of the 24th fret marker.

Is this something I have to worry about?

Edit: The pictures didn't show so I put direct links in.

Thanks for the good news!

It seems to only be the finish. Still, I wanted to be on the safe side and ask some folks here who know more about this than me. This is my first guitar with a set neck so I don't have much experience with them.

Besides the crack it's a fantastic guitar and I might do a NGD post later to show it off.
