I found this 2014 prestige RG locally a few days ago and picked it up. The neck felt very similar to my favorite neck of all time, that of the 90s JPM Ibanez, which I just assume is a slight variation on the original wizard, with the trademark thin profile continuing all the way to the neck joint that is so hard to find in guitars these days. It is Galaxy Black sparkle and has what looks like an aftermarket pickguard and definitely aftermarket pickups. The guy put in a Bill Lawrence 500xl...which I am removing as soon as humanly possible not only for its awful sound but because the pickup is too tall for the RG routing for me to put the action as low as I like...right now it is sitting a few millimeters above my comfort zone. Seller didn't know what model it was, but it has an abalone colored logo inlay and abalone colored dot inlays. I've been out of the Ibanez field for awhile now so I have no idea what this is. Is it a production model or a custom order or something? IIRC all the custom prestige guitars were called "J-Custom" and labeled as such but I may be wrong. The serial number is F1400741 and according to serial tracker was made in Fujigen factory in 2014.

I just bought it for the galaxy black paint job and more importantly, the most comfortable neck I have handled lately. It was exposed to some sort of humidity and the metal parts needed a bit of cleaning, but everything else was straight as an arrow.

Images below, forgive the poor quality my camera phone sucks:

It looks like a bit of a customised one to me, can you get a close up of the bridge as that will help folks pin down the exact model.

I think something like An RG2550 or similar, but the last 10 years aren’t my best subject knowledge!
