Hey guys, just thought I would give a sneak peek of my newly acquired Herc BMC.

Going to be looking for build ideas as I am starting fresh on this one.

Black hardware?

That's Awful... In that you only posted a single, partial picture. ;)

Well, a few months ago I had a power cosmo (silverish lo-pro) but sold it. Should have probably kept it. That is what I was thinking too early on before I had the body.

what about a yellow, pink, red and creme pickups?
okay, i'm just kidding.
insane Herc swirl, btw.
i'd go for chrome or powercosmo hardware and
blue or white pickups.
aaaand white desapearing pyramid inlays.

The guitar is beautiful in person. I am impressed.

I was thinking power cosmo, blue white blue pickups, Ebony fretboard with either a white vine or blue silver white disappearing pyramids.

Chrome hardware, white pickups, pearl/abalone disappearing pyramids on an ebony or dark rosewood board. Been done but it works SO well on a BMC.

Very very very nice!! I'd be tempted with either Black / Blue, Black, Blue / Black pickup arrangement or all blue pickups, a cosmo black Edge / Lo-Pro Edge and either a maple with blue vine or ebony with neon blue vine fretboard. If it were mine, but sadly it's not :(

If by power cosmo you mean that satinish grey crap that wears off inside of a few months... keep that off this amazing guitar body!!!

Mike, yeah, that is what I'm talking about. I had not heard this but I have never had one on a guitar of mine either. Can you elaborate?

Anyone else had this issue? I certainly want it to stay nice looking!

The Powder Cosmo (PC) are the ones that are fitted to the DNAs. They're a matt grey colour (plenty of DNA pics to source) and if you don't look after it, they tarnish quite easily. I've not had a problem with mine as I make sure I *always* wipe it down after I'm done playing.
