Hey guys..i know this topic has been repeated so many times but i really need to get a centralised view from everyone out there!~ Firstly where i am , we dont have people who do custom body finish or paints or inlays .. the only best way is to head to neighbouring Malaysia , Australia or send it direct to the States. I'm looking for alternatives like what colour pickups i can match this particular body finish. If you need a idea what MRB is..check out

http://www.ibanezrules.com/new/rg1570.htm

It looks greenish but i guess its actually blueish heh heh.it kinda looks black at a angle...but shines like this when light is present....hmm...

could i do a custom inlay myself using self designed vines ? maybe a decal shop could do them out and i could attached them by glue to the fretboard?
or perhaps blue pickups like the Jem 77Bfp? i need your views and ideas pls!~

Thanks fo browsing!~

Glueing anything to the fretboard is a no-no. It wont last long after a bit of playing, and could leave glue after it peels off. Not how inlays should be done (not even an inlay to be technical)

Im not sure on the pickups, I think black looks fine with that finish, or the blue. I think anything else would stand out too much.

thanks for the webby jra2217!~ looks like there's more then one alternative to sending it to a custom shop..i agree with the choice of colours you quoted...i like contrast as well..but all we got here are black white and zebra pickups variety...pretty boring
