Dont know if this has been posted yet or not, but I couldnt find it.
EMG have released a new pickup set, the KFK, or Kerry King set!

They are the same the same as the Zakk Wylde set (EMG81, 85) but with a PA2 or 20db gain booster! So basically lots of gain and bone crushing distortion. They sound like they will be pretty damn cool.

I was going to order a set of the Zakk Wyldes, but I am ordering these now! I will let people know what they are like when I get them. I will probably put them in my RG421 if I can.

And after seeing Slayer 2 weeks ago (they were awesome!) I just have to try them out.

Yeah, I read about them on EMG's website a while ago but I've not heard a sound sample yet.

They are bound to sound HUGE!!
Especially with the 20db boost kit provided, I am guessing it will be similar to the other "boost kits" on the market. It will probably just give the pickups that extra push over the edge! It will make them go to "11" as they say, lol.

Yeah, you can switch the booster on/off. It's basically a mini-toggle switch with a small circuit board mounted to it that has a variable micro-pot on it that allows you to set the level of boost you want.

It does look like a great set to get!
