Hey All:

My name is Dave and I just bought my first Ibanez, and I have no idea why I've shunned and waited so long to join this club??

This new guitar may well be the best guitar I have ever owned, and I have owned a lot!! Gibbys, Fenders, Rickenbackers, Gretsches, you name it I've probably owned it!! However I've always been into classic rock/Blues and have always considered Ibanezs to be shred machines, not for my style of music at all, but boy was I wrong!!

My new RG8570Z-BX can play pretty much anything I've tossed at it, I can truly say it's one of the most versatile guitars I've ever owned!!

Looking forward to participating in this fine forum!!

Cheers

I'm new to Ibanez too. Very pleased with mine. I have an S970CW and a SV5470F I just picked up. Between the Fender Strats and these thin body guitars, I've got pretty much all genres covered.
Thanks for the reply, appreciated. I still have my 11.2 lb. 72 Les Paul Deluxe, that one will need to be ripped from my cold dead hands, lol!! But this Ibanez seems to cover any base I could possibly want to cover!!

Wow... Decided to start out at the top? Ha ha... I've owned about 10 Ibanez guitars through my life, but never anything even close to that level. Congrats! Looks like an awesome guitar!
If you're going to be a bear, you might as well be a grizzly!!

I traded my beloved Rickenbacker 660/6 fireglo, so it was a very hard decision to do the trade, but now that it's done I have no regrets!!

Thanks for the post, appreciated! If you get the chance, try a J Custom!!

Whoa! That's a non-chambered version for sure. I sold my Gibson SG, it was the only short-scale guitar in my collection and I discovered that my PRS at 25" is the shortest I'm comfortable with. Everything else is 25.5". I really think Ibanez, especially in the premium series, offers the best value out there for a quality guitar.
