I've just made two additions to my collection. Both brand new - a first since the budget Cort strat I got as a teenager. I managed to get a good combined price for them, as they'd been hanging around in the store unsold for a long time (one was manufactured in 2008!). I now have an Ibanez for each of the five tunings that I use routinely. :grin2:

RG652FX in Galaxy Black:
I'd intended to buy a fixed bridge model when I made my last purchase, but found much better deals going on tremolo models (I guess because there's so many more of them about). It's my first with a Super Wizard neck - I've already fallen in love with it.

RG2550Z in Galaxy White:
I already had one in Galaxy Black, so this felt instantly at home in my hands. It wouldn't have been my first choice of finish, but it's growing on me.

Croquette, yes that's the store ;) Good customer service, so I'd definitely recommend them / use them again.

I was tempted by their RG655, but was set on the fixed bridge RG652-GK and decided three black RGs would be a bit boring...so sent with the white RG2550Z. Unlike most people around here, I actually like the Edge Zero.

I was also tempted by the S6570Q-NBL, but my budget could only stretch to the two RGs or the one much more expensive S...easy choice in the end. If (more like when) I buy another guitar, it will probably be another S. Have to say I prefer some of the older more natural finishes that the Prestige line used to have (like my swirled ebony top). If I'd seen an S5520K or S6UC going for a decent price, I wouldn't have been able to help myself.
