When i do a bend and add vibrato to it, the note instantly fades out no matter how hard or light i keep pressing on the string. Ive tried many methods and none of them work. Help please?

I have an RG3550MZ

A couple of ideas:

Pickups might be too close to the strings, ie too high - try sinking them into the body a bit.

Your technique may not be quite good enough yet - keep practicing.

Action may be too low on the guitar.

Strings may be old/dirty

So when you bend up the string dies out? Sounds like the strings are fretting out due to the fretboard's radius. Meaning, raise your action a pinch and your problem will be solved.

If not, then please describe in more detail where/how you bend vibrato. Fretting out mainly happens on the higher strings past the 12th fret, so if you are doing stuff elsewhere and still get deadened note it may be some other factor. Either way, raise your action a bit, as this solves most fretboard problems anyways.

Its a RG3550MZ, quite new. The action on it came SUPER low out of the box though, that may be why
