so... i walked into Music Go Round today (a popular chain here in the states) with an old scrapped-out RR3 Rhoads Jackson. i walked out with a used Alvarez FD-60 acoustic (made in Korea not China) and it is terrific. it has an incredibly low action, no buzz and a stunning piezo pickup system. the quilted maple top and maple back and sides are nice too. i only ended up paying 58 dollars after trade, (originally $250), and have never been happier. even better, is that it cost $650 new (consumermusiconline.com/cm_ag_alvelefd60tbrbx1.html) i might post pics later.
