Hi i have an RG350 with an egde II and i changed the springs in it awile ago. Turns out those springs were worse than the original. Now i changed them back but i realize they are not worn in yet because they have been out of the guitar for so long. I waited like 2 days and the tremolo angle is still insanely high. The claw srews are in as far as they could go. I just want to return the angle to normal like i had before what should i do??
Did you leave the locking nut locked? Put a fresh set of strings on that thing and adjust properly. Chances are, you're going to have to unscrew the claw a bit.
I rather not add an extra spring! But i am planning on changing strings as soon as my new neck arrives...Do u think that will solve the problem?? The string to spring tension was fine before - thats y i'm wondering y it lifted so much?
