You can`t go too far wrong with an Ibanez and a Boogie
Sounds good.
Was that recorded direct out of the preamp?
I use the Mesa Quad preamp have done for years and that sounds pretty good direct with no power amp.
The only thing with the Mesa is i would like more mid range balls if you know what i mean.
Is that a Tone Zone in your guitar? i`m thinking of getting a TZ.

Now THAT'S a guitar tone I like! None of these fancy sounds, just out and out power and grunt! Very nice tones indeed! Its a very meaty tone, lots of beef to it, if ya know what I mean. I really like it.

As Joe said, what pickup was that from? A TZ?

Thanks! Actually my PGM has the Petrucci setup with the addition of the JEM single: AN/JEM S/SS

Previous owner of my guitar did the pup swap. It is a VERY bright setup. I don't like it with all of my cabs but, thru some of my cabs it's the right thing to play with.

Wasn't recorded direct: TriAxis into 2:90 into 3/4 Back 2X12 cab (all Mesa) and an MD421 mic into a Neve mic pre into protools.
