Thank you, 1 more question that i need answered nowjimmyfingersminion said:the end where the wire comes out on the pickup is the side that shold be nearest to your control cavity.
Could you refer me to a website that might ship to New Zealand with those parts?bluealien said:Ok, I was able to get the 3 pin female connector & extra pins from a real electronics store near me, so hopfully tonight I can finally start to wire this pup.
Im not going to install yet the optional master tone, yet I will possible do this later.
This is all in the PDF, postition and how close to the strings it has to be, it just does not include the wiring diagram for the Opotional Master Tone, the FSK401 is already wired for this and has the additional pot. I can not really coment on what it all comes with since, I can on see from a picture, Im installing the FSK 101 kit, and have ran into the issues I have mentioned above.frankfalbo said:You guys were asking about how the FSK should be oriented. Well I'm definitely NOT an expert in this, I've only messed around with a few, but I tried to reverse it so the pickup coil was closer to the neck than the driver coil. I wanted the neck pickup tone to be more toward the neck. It seemed to create some awkward situations. My novice interpretation of that told me that the driver coil has to be closer to the neck, and that it probably has something to do with the size of the vibrational pattern or something.
I dont know what the FSK401 all comes with, other than it being prewired and what you see in the image, so you maybeable to splice it if you can not find the female pins.StoleN GuitaR said:Could you refer me to a website that might ship to New Zealand with those parts?
And i think the FSK401 circuit board might have enough Female ends right?
Soldering directly to the board isn't bad, aslong as you do it correctly (thats what Fernandes support told me)
