Well after I long wait I hauled in two jems the last week or so. I now have a '03 DBK that is perfect. Still has the plastic over the pickguard, 99.8% no fret wear at all, and orginal tags. Had to get non ibanez case to ship it in though. It came set up well too.

Also scored a 7VSB with orginal case and tags. I need to put some strings on it but other then that it's pretty damn cherry. Looks like the vintage silver hardware may have aged a little, or it could just be the look.

well I had to throw some other pictures in too just for the fun of it. Some other parts of the collection included a new Jackon RR fixed bridge 24 frets.(I wanted a nice fixed bridge ax).

A '03 1570RG in the Blue.

a '89 S540 that has been routed for the other pickup, now houses a tone zone and air norton, and a amazing smooth sanded and oiled neck to go with the natural oiled wood.

Had to throw in the old trusty peavey strat as well.

Also the weird custom rg that i picked up to make into a project. I don't really know what the hell is going on with it. Of course there are some other things in the closet that aren't pictured.

also the 570 I took to the concert in St. Paul and had the guys sign, I got vai, Jeremey, and eric sardinas and his band as well.

As well as having some awesome guitars, I love the look of those comic action figures etc in the background!

Mmmmm, 7DBK (I always wanted one :>)

Joe
you should see some pics of the whole room, I have lots of shelfs filled with toys, and the whole closet and garage is stacked as well. I'm a little crazy :)

You know, the VSBL does come with the smoked grey hardware, but now that I look at the closeup pic again, your trem almost looks black. Must just be the pic....either that or someone swapped out the original trem. Get the pearloid truss cover to complete the Strat to Jem conversion;)

It's not black it's just the picture. It's quite faded grey.
