Hi all,
Okay, I'm in the middle of a load of projects at the moment, and I thought it was about time I shared a few pics of them, so here's one (other threads in other parts of the forum).

http://uk.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/[email protected]/album?.dir=/c1e5

This is a RG7620 body that I bought off e-bay, then I built the neck from scratch (with a 6 string vine board bought off e-bay, which I then widened using binding to make it 7 string). Then swirled the body and headstock with black/white/purple/red. This one is definitely a keeper I think - I'm gonna put Blaze's in it - should be nice! It's been cleared but not polished, so the finish is not perfect yet (will be done soon) - there's also some major reflections in some pics - please ignore them!!

cheers,

Rich

that looks awesome, and has inspired me to do my own actually, but having never done it before and only read a quick tutorial it seems a little daunting.

what base did you use for that swirl?

i'm planning on buying a 7321 and i would like to attempt a red on black or something equally as "simple" and then put red knobs on and red pickup bobbin covers. etc.

I assume you mean what base colour did I use, in which case it was a white base coat. And thanks everyone for the compliments, I haven't got around to polishing it and re-assembling yet - probably get done next week hopefully.

yes i did mean base coat, thanks for that :)

if i was planning to do a plain red/black swirl, i am guessing the only way to do this is to have a black base coat and then swirl with plain red?

thanks again.
