A few months ago I scored a 2008 JEM 7V that was in a music store that went bankrupt years ago. It was still new in the case! Beautiful guitar and zero yellowing. I was looking at prices and I just don’t understand the discrepancies in this particular model. They seem to range from $1500-4500 new. Can anyone explain this?

There is a Premium model of the VWH which explains the $1800 new, while Japanese is still $3000 new [listed prices, MAP is in effect on all New pricing]. Anybody asking over that for a stock guitar is just stupid.

There are also some folks who have modded their guitars to try to be like Steve's own "Evo" guitar, and then 100 Ibanez custom shop replicas of Steve's "Evo" which do go for more. Condition of these plays a big part too!
