The push in trem causes me no end of stress, 9/10 its not where i ned to be its flapping around the tone knob, the nail polish idea works for a week then its all floppy again.
Why can't we get a replacement trem arm insert that allows screw threaded arm like on the Lo Pro Trs and fender trems? They give ABSOLUTE trem arm control, you get better long warbles and flicks because there is NO movement in the mechanism (where as the bushing on the push in absorb a lot of the kinetic energy and the collared trem arm lose more because of the <=1mm gap between the arm and its collar fitting)
It seem absurd that you pay over $1500 for a guitar with a trem arm that becomes limp within weeks and the best solution is nail varnish! Does thaat sound like a top quality guitar?? Don't get me wrong I love JEM's but that trem arm really is the difference between taking that into the studio for long recording sessions and my Jackson Soloist
