QM1 and QM2 in S540 - similar pickups?

The QM pickups in my S540 always impress me, each time. Something about them is just pure magic. No clue what it is. I have Dimarzios , Duncans from the early 90ties, PRS pickups, etc., but the QMs in the 540er are just a great versatile set. Great.

But: there's barely any info out there though, even my search here only finds vague info. The QM (Quantums) are ceramic and middle-ish output, that's all I can figure out. Is there a large manufacturer homolog pickup out there somewhere? Evos maybe? I'd love to get something similar.

Any input appreciated.

I like 'em well enough. I had an early set in my turquoise S for a while until they got replaced by '80s V1/V2 set. That Q set is in my V now but they are too far away from the strings and I haven't gotten around to adjusting them. It was hard enough getting them to sit slanted enough to be parallel with the strings.

I have a recent Q set sitting ready to go when I next itch to move pups around. I have them in Seymour Duncan TripleShot rings (which are just the total ****) as with all my Ibby buckers. I'm digging most on Inf3/Inf4 set in black basswood right now though.

Here's a link to some DC resistance info on the Quantums, and others.
