i guess since being able to play like vai is "possible," i'd choose the jedi powers. then again, i think star wars is kinda childish (puts on flame suit) so i might take guitar god status instead

Pfft. Jedi powers all the way. Guitar is cool and all, but unless you get extremely motion sick, the jedi powers would be much more fun. First thing id do is use my force grip on vettes 23rd fret while he's playing a vai tune. Then we'll see how impressive it is

You play your guitar to a crowd. You want to wow the crowd. Instead of say, burning or smashing your guitar, you use your Force powers to telekinetically pick up the guitar, high up in the air. Look! No strings attached!

Having Force powers will not make you better player, but it would also eliminate your need for a footswitch (just turn to the other channels with a wave of your hand).
Yup Jedi - it would eliminate the need for any of Vai's powers as you would already possess all of Vai's powers and many more
There will be some drawbacks to having Jedi powers, though.
People will be asking for your help so much that you'll have no time to play yer guitar.
