Hi all this is my first post.

I have an Ibanez S470 from the early 90's. It has a Lo trs trem 2 and I need to replace it with a Floyd Rose or even a better Ibanez trem. What floyd Rose trem will fit with no modifacation to the guitar? I just want it to fit right in. What about the same for other Ibanez trems?

Any Floyd Rose or licenced trem based off the Original or low profile should fit fine. The Edge series bridges from Ibanez wont fit without additional routing.

I'm thinking about the OFR. I got a guy from my local music store looking into it and he agrees the OFR should drop right in. I just wanna make sure before I drop the cash.

On this topic, do licensed floyd roses' come to the same specs as the OFR? are the dimensions the same? What is usually changed?
