I'm thinking about selling my RG 2820 Guitar. It has some emotional value, but i never play it. It is also autographed by Richie Kotzen. It is a limited Edition made in japan around 2003/2004, but i don't really know how much is valuable now, anyone has some info? I've found just a guy who sold one for 800 $ on Ebay.

There is one on Reverb for two months unsold $1400 but from France. Because this is both uncommon and not collectable the value is whatever someone will pay before you agree to a price. It's probably worth less than a somewhat similar new Prestige RG you can buy right? Think like potential buyers to determine price and want to really sell it. If the signature is on the body remove it to increase value. If it's on the back of the headstock well that probably decreases value. I would expect you can sell it quickly at $1000 or below.

Bad timing with the RG550, JS and AZ models just coming out (nevermind the 777 30ths). There are only so many ibanez superfans interested and the non-signature models are plentiful. Good luck.

Thanks, i was thinking kinda the same, but it would be fine to me to sell it for 700/800 plus expenses, cause i'm also located in Europe, Italy precisely. The signature is indeed on the back of the headstock. I was thinking to sell it abroad, because very few people here uses those guitars anymore. Any site you would suggest?

Hopefully someone from your location can give better advice where/how to sell. Maybe play the guitar a little in the meantime & see if you change your mind while you review sale options?

Further limiting your choices is that since the guitar fretboard is rosewood you have CITES issues to contend with if you ship it across borders. Not sure what Reverb listings cost but that's probably the first place i'd go after the Classifieds here with a fixed price & "make best offer".
