Hello,
I just pick up an RG 350ex. I got it off ebay ($157 with the case) and had a few questions.
1. I believe it is a 2010 model and may have a wizard 3 neck but I'm not sure? I did notice that the screws that hold the locking nut to the neck are NOT visible through the back of the neck....Usually one can see the two screws that hold the locking nut on an RG... Does this mean it is a wizard 3 neck and not a wizard 2?
2. I need to adjust the action..It is a bit high for my taste. Do I need to loosen the strings before i turn down the studs? I have looked for an answer to this and have gotten conflicting reports about damaging the knife edges on the trem.
Thanks for in advance for the help :)

Hey, I can't properly answer all of your questions, but the 2010 wizard II is actually the same spec as the wizard III, they just renamed it in 2011 to prevent confusion.

About adjusting your action, the Edge III has cheaper metal than high end trems, obviously, so if I were you, I would not loosen my strings, instead I would undo the two outer springs for the trem - that will relieve a lot of tension, and will make it so you will not need to retune when you put the springs back on! It works like a charm for me every time!

Good luck and welcome to jemsite!
