I have an RG570 body from Japan but no trem on it. Can I install a floyd instead? Is there another edge model that would fit it that's just as good as the original edge trem?

An original Floyd Rose should fit an original RG570, as would a Gotoh Floyd.

An original Edge or a LoPro Edge will fit but the newer Edge Pro is not the same and a LoPro Edge and won’t actually fit. I believe this is because the spacing of the mounting studs is different on that generation of trem units.

If an OFR fits, a Schaller Lockmeister or the Schaller Floyd Rose II should fit too.....
