RG Premium Stock pickups.

I recently got an Ibanez RG920 (the H-H version) and I also have a pair of Dimarzio D Activators. The guitar came stock with the Dimarzio/iBZ pickups and I noticed when looking in the controls cavity that they have 5 wires in the same colors as the D Activators. Considering that the stocks are also by Dimarzio, are the wires of the same? That is, would it be as simple as remembering the wiring/colors and doing the same with the D Activators?

Thanks.

Yes, it's just a direct swap unless you'd like to try new combinations.

For the exact sound when in position 4 (I like to call it 2), both pickups must be installed north up, south down.
Thanks for the reply. Yes, I want to install these pickups just as the others are now. When you say, north up south down, I assume you are speaking of magnetic fields? How exactly do I know which is which?

South is the coil where the cable exits the baseplate, so both cables (for the neck and bridge pickups) must face the tremolo, just like they are now, in order to get inner coils in position 4 (I call it 2).
Ok, thanks a lot for your help! :)
