I would say it is worth it. That model was only produced for two years, and not available worldwide - maybe Europe only (not 100% sure on that one). It's basicly the same as a 550 but with ash body and a different neck.

Don't buy it if you want to sell it fast for some easy money, but buy it if you like it and want to play it. It is uncommon. Maybe you will be able to talk it down a little in price, but I don't think it's bad at all. That said, haven't seen a 548 for sale in a long time.

I had one in Light Blue (RG548LBU) back in late 90's and still can't forgive myself for selling her... So, I'd say go for it And don't forget to share the NGD pics

What kind of neck and tremolo does it have?

 

Wizard II neck and the original Edge trem, V7/S1/V8 pickups.

 

If the 548 is truly "immaculate", I think 387euros ($511 USD) is more than fair. I would certainly buy it.
