hi i bought my rgt42 3 months ago and i really love it i changed my strings to 10-46 and tuned it down to dgcfad and i think i nedd to adjust the truss rod.the d string buzzes from 4.th fret to 11.i measured the truss rod tension and the clerance between the string and the fret at the 8. fret is slightly 0.3 mm i dont know if i should adjust it myself but i also dont think the people who work where i bought my guitar are not experts and i think they would make stuff up to make me go away
i tried to adjust it and thre is a place where the allen turns really easy(its one fourth of a whole turn) and later it is stuck in both end i didnt push the allen couse im scraed to death to adjust it couse my father wont buy one more couse he doesnt want me to become a musician

You're not going to receive many replies if you don't put an effort into writing legibly.

The "d string" is the low d?

There is a tutorial at www.ibanezrules.com (banner above) that you should use as a guide when doing the setup (what you're doing). Read the guide carefully before sticking your allen wrench anywhere. Could it be that your action is just set too low? It could be you need to raise the nut.

i have one of these, and it has an extremely straight/flat neck, to the point where the truss rod almost seems loose. i don't think it'd take well to extreme changes in set-up.

given that it's a neck-thru, this is probably not the guitar that you want to be trying new things with, or rather, things which are beyond your scope of set-up ability.

if you must go down this road, get the guitar along to a professional tech for a set-up you're happy with.

It could be you need to raise the nut.

Raising the nut only affects the first fret. You only do this if everything else is fine but your open notes buzz.

The truss rod, the overall natural curvature of the neck, the fret level, and the inherent strength of the neck are all related in this, and without an experienced tech looking at your neck, flexing it, and reading the fret level it's to hard to give advice. Ny gut feeling is that if you upped the string gauge you need to tighten the rod a little but then raise the action at the bridge as well. But if you have some high frets then all bets are off.
