I have a S370 I bought around 03 or 04 that has the old TRS locking tremolo. I've always had love-hate relationship with the thing especially after a brief stint playing a EVH Wolfgang that had the Floyd Rose Original. I would like to replace the TRS with a FRO (which I understand is a drop in replacement requiring no routing) but I recall reading somewhere on this site that it takes a shorter sustain block for the S series guitars that what typically comes on the FRO. Can anyone tell me what size I need? Also I'm open to other suggestions regarding the bridge. The TRS and FRO are the only locking trems I have any experience with.

Thanks in advance

32mm is the standard size block, you can use a bigger block (better for tone and sustain too), but you'd just have to leave the cavity cover off.
