I was restringing my guitar yesturday, and after it was all finished I was tuning it, after tuning it using the machine heads without the nut attached I was stetching the strings doing divebombs and pullups with the tremolo. After doing a bomb dive i heard something pop or crack, I dont know and I couldnt find a missing peice. But today while playing, it still works perfectly, I found a screw on the floor. So then I was looking for where it came from. And at the back of the neck I found a missing hole. Its one of the two screws behind the golden thing where you attach the nut too. Dont know what it is offically called.
Should I just screw it back in? What caused this?
By the way while I was tuning, the golden peice where the nut attaches to or somewhere near that was making sounds, as if the strings were too tight, hard to explain, but this never happened before?
I owe the members of this forum alot.
