I-m thrilled but I was thinking of replacing the pick/ups to keep the stock ones as new as possible (even though the neck one is already a bit chipped) in case I ever sell it. Do you think this is a good idea or would modding it actually devalue the guitar?

Hey, nice pair! I've always loved that JPM. :)
And play the damn axe! You may find replacement chrome pickups anywhere on e*B*a*y.
