If it is a 555 body you will have to do some route job to fit the edge in ....

Well , im building a Jem 555 with a body i bought , I was thinking to drop a Edge or an edge pro in there .. and i was wondering if thats possible , since i have NO knowladge about guitar tech besides changing strings pretty much.
Im afraid i dont wana mess it up , or anything!
The edge pro is too expensive for my pocket , so im gona go for a single edge . Another thing , i need to buy some dimarzio pickups , it will be cool if you guys drop me some info about the Evo pickups , and would it be bad if i go an Evo on the neck and a EMG 81 on bridge???

The EMG 81 is an active, low impedance pickup, the EVO is a passive, high impedance pickup - there are some complications (for example, from memory the EMG pots are 25K, whereas the standard Ibanez ones will be 250 or 500K) - I suspect they have to have a totally separate signal path until you hit the output socket - anyone else out there confirm this?

I own a 350Dx right now , with that trem , and i dont see a problem with it.. maybe becouse i havent tryed an edge??

There is a small chance for a direct fit with an edge but OFR is the safer option.
