I use a marshall head for gigs, and have a second one on standby as a spare. Is there any problem standing one head on top of another? I'm concerned that the lower one might be cooking the upper one. These heads don't have any kind of fan in them so air flow might be being restricted.

Well, countless touring pros stack heads that are always fired up, and it doesn't seem to have any adverse effect. I don't see why there'd be any problems, but if you're worried about overheating, pick up one of the small battery-powered fans with a clamp on it and find a way to afix it to either the cabinet or one of the heads. You can usually find them at places like Bed, Bath & Beyond of maybe even Wal-Mart.
