Hi really new to all this been given a d-sonic want to swap the v8 bridge for the dsonic will be keeping the v7 and middle pickup for the time being
Its a prestige dont know the exact model all i know its 2003.
all i know it sounds best with the strip facing the bridge (what i read) but not sure where to connect the wires.

Have a look at some wiring diagrams or tutorials online, if you are still confused then take it to a music shop and they will fit it usually for about £25

wish i had £25.00
Anyway tried so many diff pics of the wiring either sounds thin and harse or just awfull with lots of humm.

Hi Terry, welcome to Jemsite!!!!

Not knowing which guitar you have makes this a little harder. I'm assuming you have an H-S-H configuration.

On the DiMarzio:
The red lead is hot- it will go to the outside post next to the other two reds.

Black and white will get soldered together then soldered to the 5th post over from the hot you just soldered. (It will be the third post from the opposite end of the hot)

Green and the bare leads will get soldered together then soldered to ground (the back of either the volume or the tone pots).

working proper now and hum as gone :)
